Intel® RealSense™ Dynamic Target Tool renders a graphical chart on a mobile display to facilitate calibration with the Intel® RealSense™ Dynamic Calibrator for D400-series depth cameras. The chart consists of black and white bars and blocks with fixed dimensions that do not depend on the phone’s display size.
For example, the central black-and-white bars have a width of 10 mm, and their height is an integral multiple of 10 mm (such as 90 mm or 100 mm).
During calibration, the Intel® RealSense™ Dynamic Calibrator detects and analyzes the chart pattern and compares it against ground-truth references to determine calibration parameters for the devices.
The Intel® RealSense™ Dynamic Target Tool and the Intel® RealSense™ Dynamic Calibrator are designed to operate as a paired workflow.
